Free OSMF Design Workshop
September 7, 2010 in Technology
'afternoon loyal readers:
I write to you, today, on this rather dreary, June-like, September day in Venice, with a free learning opportunity for those interested in OSMF.
As some of you may know from prior posts, I'll be teaching a lab at Adobe MAX 2010. Entitled 'Designing Custom Video Players', the lab is actually 90 minutes of training on how to design, build and deploy customized Flash video players -- without knowing or using any Flash at all!
Designing Custom Video Players
October 9th, 2010
1 P - 3 P
RMI - LA - 525 Venezia Ave, Venice, CA 90291
FREE
The main tool used in the course is Photoshop, as well as Illustrator. And we have to do some XML editing to get our custom skin into place. But that's it.
So, if learning how to build custom video players without any code (or even Flash) interests you, or if you're just interested in learning how to skin Flash Media Playback and Strobe Media Playback, then I suggest you check this out.
Attendance is limited so register now!
Share and enjoy!
